Participation in the Conference in Bulgaria

Assoc.Prof Ahmet and Dr. Lale Özdemir from our department were both keynote speakers at the International Conference “Priorities in the digitization of books, documents, photos and modern approaches to the promotion of digitized materials” which took place in Arabanasi, Bulgaria on 28.09.2023. Altay's talk was entitled "An evaluation of digitization projects undertaken by libraries in Türkiye from the perspective of Bulgarian cultural heritage", whereas Özdemir presented the talk "Digitisation and digital preservation endeavours in Türkiye: why just Digitization is never enough.
