Future Libraries and Literacy Panel

Ereğli Faculty of Education Reading Culture Community held a panel titled "Libraries of the Future and Literacy" moderated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nuran BAŞOĞLU. In the panel, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet ALTAY, one of the faculty members of our department, mentioned the importance of libraries in agriculture, industry and information society with his presentation titled "Development of Libraries from Clay Tablets to Artificial Intelligence", while Assoc. Prof. Dr. Huriye ÇOLAKLAR, in her presentation titled "Literacy, Information Literacy and Reading the Future: Artificial Intelligence Applications"; she gave information about the importance of accessing the right information, smart libraries and digital information resources.
